What is Blockbuster Express?
Blockbuster Express is a kiosk based rental service started by NCR and branded under Blockbuster, in the late December 2009 to compete against Redbox which offers a similar service.

What is a rental kiosk?
A rental kiosk is similar to a vending machine and allows you to rent movies and games with the use of a debit/credit card. The DVD's can usually be rented for as low as $1 for a day with charges for additional days. These kiosks are becoming very popular and can be found in various stores and supermarkets. Major stores include Walmart, Walgreens, Publix and Kroger. [top]
Does Blockbuster Express have competitors?
Yes, Redbox was the first and still is a major competition to Blockbuster Express. Other private companies are pouring into the market after noticing the demand. DVD Play is one of them and is slowly gaining market. [top]
What are promotion codes?
The concept of rental kiosks are still new and promotional codes are offen issued to attract customers. A promotional code entitles you to one night free movie or game rental. A subsequent $1 would be charged for any additonal nights. [top]
Are the promotion codes unique and per household?
Most are but some can be re-used till their expiration. The codes listed on our page will have additional details to better your judgement. Non reusable codes are validated per credit/debit card, which means if you have two different cards then both can be used for them. Please check the terms and conditions before you proceed.

Blockbuster Express Kiosks are designed and developed by NCR Inc. So your best bet would be to contact NCR directly at 1-800-CALL-NCR or by visiting their website at http://www.ncr.com.
However, it is advisable to start by have a talk with Blockbuster Express representative first. You could reach them at 1-877-300-2128, M-F 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and S - S, 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

How much is it for a DVD movie/Blu-ray rental?
It is $1(+tax) for DVD movies and $1.25(+tax) for Blu-ray movie per night you decide to keep it.

What time do i have to return the movie before getting charged again?
The movie are supposed to be returned to the kiosk latest by 9pm the next day to avoid an additional day charge of $1(+tax).

Is there a late charge?
No there isn't. Its a $1(+tax) every day for 25 days. After 25 days, the DVD is yours to keep.

I rented a dvd and it is unplayable. What should I do?
A disc is usually unplayable if it get scratched and is mostly a result of mishandling. In your case, it could have been caused by the previous renter. I suggest you to contact the customer service at this number:
1-877-300-2128, M-F 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and S - S, 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Usually in cases like this they either refund your money or win you back with a free rental promotional code.

The kiosk I rent from is not working. What should I do?
Try to find another kiosk nearby using our Kiosk Locations page. If none are available close by, you should contact the customer service to make a report or to find out the delay involved.

The promo/coupon code is not working. What should I do?
Make sure that you meet the coupon's minimum requirement, if any. Also remember, some codes are region/store specific and cannot be used elsewhere. If all fails, please notify our community via the forums and vote appropriately on our coupon ratings module.

Its easy, click on the contributers username and it will take you to the forum where he/she posted the code. Leave a reply thanking the person. Trust me, a simple thank you could make a person's day and will encourage him/her to contribute more to our community.

Visit the following link and enter you address or zip code. Once a desired kiosk is found, select "BROWSE" to find all the movies currently available at that Kiosk.

To find a kiosk for a selected movie, do the following:
Goto http://blockbusterexpress.com/browse-movies/ and select a movie. On the movie details page you would find "Enter your address to select a kiosk near you". Enter your address or zip code and it will find you a kiosk carrying that movie.
